Michael S. Homsey

A native Oklahoman, Michael S. “Mickey” Homsey has invested his career in practicing law at the city, state and federal levels. Homsey is a former Oklahoma County Assistant District Attorney, and former Municipal Judge for the cities of Harrah and Choctaw.

Homsey graduated from Northwest Classen High School in Oklahoma City, and completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Oklahoma State University in 1973. He went on to attend law school at Oklahoma City University and earned his Juris Doctorate degree in 1976.

During Homsey’s tenure as a lawyer, he has served with numerous associations and civic charities. He is a member of the Oklahoma Bar Association, Oklahoma County Bar Association, and Oklahoma Trial Lawyers Association. He was granted practice in the United States Supreme Court and Western Federal District Court of Oklahoma. He is a former member of the Fee Grievance and Bar Committee, and Bench and Bar Committee for the Oklahoma County Bar Association; a former member of the Executive Advisory Council to the Dean at the Oklahoma City University School of Law; and a former member and Chairman of the Board of Adjustments for the City of Oklahoma City.

In 1990 he was the National Chairman for the Circle of Pride Campaign at Oklahoma City University. He is a past member and President of the Board of Directors for St. Elijah Church, and was long-time chairman of the Annual Food Festival presented by St. Elijah Church. He also has served as a member and past chairman of the Board of Directors of the International Orthodox Christian Charities.
