Rebecca Snyder is an experienced conservation and education leader with a robust background in zoology and psychology. Currently serving as the Senior Director of Conservation, Education, and Science at the Oklahoma City Zoo and Botanical Garden since January 2020, Rebecca previously held the role of Director of Conservation and Science at the same organization from October 2015 to April 2022. Prior experience includes various curator positions at Zoo Atlanta, focusing on mammals, carnivores, and giant panda research between 2001 and 2014. Rebecca earned a Ph.D. in Experimental Psychology and a Master of Science in Experimental Psychology from the Georgia Institute of Technology, along with a Bachelor of Science in Zoology/Animal Biology from Iowa State University.
