Laura Wilcox

Laura Wilcox has had a diverse range of work experiences. Laura started their career in 2012 as a Public Relations Intern at Positive Tomorrows. In 2013, they worked as a Co-Account Lead for Boren Mentoring Initiative at Lindsey + Asp. Laura then moved on to Sam Noble Oklahoma Museum of Natural History, where they served as a Publications & Promotions Specialist and later as a Public Relations Intern. In 2015, they joined Jones PR as an Account Coordinator and eventually became an Assistant Creative Director. Laura's most recent work experience at Oklahoma Health Care Authority includes roles as a Graphic Designer, Director of Creative Services, and currently as the Senior Director of Communications.

Laura Wilcox obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Public Relations, Advertising, and Applied Communication from the University of Oklahoma. Laura attended the University of Oklahoma from 2010 to 2014. In 2012, they also briefly studied English Literature (British and Commonwealth) at the University of Oxford, although no degree was obtained from that institution. Additionally, they have acquired certifications in Colour Theory for Artists and Designers from Alison - Free Online Learning in March 2018, and in Open Water Diver from PADI in July 2014.
