Jason began their career in 1995 at Armstrong Bank, where they served as an Assistant Vice President-Lending, specializing in consumer, commercial, and real estate lending. During this time, they gained experience in profit enhancement, management information systems, collections, sales and service, and asset/liability committees.

In 2002, Holt joined the Oklahoma Highway Patrol as a Trooper and steadily progressed through the ranks. Jason held several leadership positions, including Lieutenant, Captain/Troop Commander, Major/Zone Commander/Director of Training, and most recently, Lieutenant Colonel/Deputy Chief.
