Samara Wakefield

Samara Wakefield has a strong background in finance and auditing. Samara started their career as a Financial Reporting Intern at Love's Travel Stops in 2012. Samara then interned as an Audit Intern at Deloitte in 2013. Samara joined Deloitte as an Audit Senior in 2014, where they worked until 2017. After that, they transitioned to Hillcrest Hospital South, where they held various roles including Senior Financial Analyst, Assistant Controller, and Controller. Currently, they are the Director of Finance at Oklahoma State University Medical Center, a position they have held since 2023.

Samara Wakefield completed their education with a Master of Science (MS) degree in Accounting from Oklahoma State University, which they pursued from 2013 to 2014. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Accounting from the same institution, studying between 2009 and 2013. In addition, they obtained their Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification from the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy in July 2016.
