Oscar Salazar-Tarango

Oscar Salazar-Tarango has a strong background in preconstruction and project management in the construction industry. Oscar began their career at MA Mortenson in 2004 as an Estimator, where they worked until 2008. Oscar then joined DPR Construction, Inc. as a Preconstruction - Estimating professional, where they utilized their 20 years of experience to control costs and perform detailed value analysis in commercial projects. During their time at DPR Construction, Inc., they worked closely with owners and design teams to manage scope definitions and maximize value. In 2016, Oscar joined Okland Construction as a Preconstruction/Project Director, where they currently hold a leadership role with a focus on project management and preconstruction.

Oscar Salazar-Tarango obtained a Bachelor of Civil Engineering degree in Civil Engineering from Universided de Sonora, where they studied from 1991 to 1995. Oscar later pursued further education at the University of Colorado Boulder from 2003 to 2004, where they earned a Master of Science degree in Construction Management with a focus in Civil Engineering and Construction Management. Additionally, in July 2018, Oscar obtained a certification in "Improving Your Focus" from LinkedIn.
