Ben Murphy is a seasoned aerospace engineer with extensive experience in propulsion systems and sustainability. Currently serving as a Staff Integration and Testing Engineer at Oklo Inc since September 2024, Ben previously held various leadership and engineering roles at Boom Supersonic from September 2017 to October 2024. Key contributions included leading the propulsion team for the XB-1 supersonic demonstrator and overseeing engine performance and integration efforts. Prior to Boom Supersonic, Ben worked at GE Aviation in multiple capacities, developing a strong foundation in NPSS modeling, flight test integration, and aeromechanical engineering. Ben holds a Master’s Degree from the University of Cincinnati and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Notre Dame.
