Ken Naishtat is an accomplished aerospace and software engineer with extensive experience in instrumentation, controls, and software development for advanced technologies. Currently serving as an Instrumentation & Controls Engineer III at Oklo Inc since January 2022, Ken specializes in designing and testing control systems for advanced fission reactors. Prior to this role, Ken contributed significantly at SpaceX in various positions from 2011 to 2020, including Lead Software Engineer for Build Pipelines and Senior Software Engineer in Test, focusing on software development improvements and test plan execution for both onboard flight and surface software. Ken's early career at NASA Dryden Flight Research Center involved designing and testing software for aircraft simulations and embedded systems. Ken holds a BS in Electrical & Computer Systems Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
