William Goodwin

William Goodwin is a seasoned legal and strategic leader with extensive experience in the aviation and technology sectors. Currently serving as Chief Legal and Strategy Officer at Oklo Inc since September 2024, Goodwin previously held significant roles at Joby Aviation, including Special Projects & Strategy, where leadership of the Pareto team and site selection for a manufacturing facility in Dayton, Ohio were key achievements. Goodwin also contributed to regulatory affairs and company growth as Deputy General Counsel at Joby. Prior to Joby, Goodwin was the Head of Policy, Regulatory, and Legal at Skyryse, and General Counsel and VP of Policy at AirMap, where remarkable success in global government affairs and legal matters was achieved. Early career experience includes roles at Morrison & Foerster LLP, the Kauffman Foundation, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. Goodwin holds a JD from UCLA School of Law, a BA in Classics from the University of Southern California, and an MA in American Politics from Claremont Graduate University.
