OKRA landscape architects
Dr. Janneke van Bergen serves as a Senior Landscape Architect at OKRA landschapsarchitecten since September 2021. Previously, Dr. van Bergen completed a PhD at TU Delft from April 2017 to July 2022 and owned Atelier 1:1, specializing in architecture and landscape from July 2010 to December 2019. Significant contributions include working as an expert in spatial quality and co-authoring the National Coastal Strategy with the Team Deltaprogramme Coast from March 2010 to June 2014. Dr. van Bergen has also held roles in various design and research capacities, including leading design teams for future visions of the Dutch Coast and participating in projects under the Programme Room for the Rivers. The educational background includes a Master of Architecture with honors from Delft University of Technology, completed in 2002.
