Markus van der Merwe

Markus van der Merwe is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in customer success, business development, and marketing. Currently serving as Customer Success Lead and previously holding multiple roles including Customer Success and Partnerships Manager and Sales Engineer at Okra Solar since October 2020, Markus is also a Business Consultant at Get Recs since March 2023. Prior experience includes teaching AS/A Level Computer Science at ICS International School and working as a Freelance Web Designer and Restaurant Manager. Markus holds an Associate of Science in Computer Science from the University of the People, completed in November 2023, and a Certificate in Photography from the College of Digital Photography. Further professional development is underway through a Project Management Institute program scheduled for November 2024 to November 2025.
