Habib Akinpelu is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in corporate law and compliance. Currently serving as Legal Counsel at Okra since November 2019, Habib Akinpelu leads the legal function, develops effective legal strategies, negotiates complex contracts, and provides legal advice on various issues including corporate law and regulatory compliance while managing a team of legal professionals. Prior to this role, Habib Akinpelu worked as Junior Legal Counsel at Akinwunmi & Busari LP, developing legal policies and advising on employment and insolvency matters, and gained further experience as a Legal Intern and Law School Attache. Habib Akinpelu holds a Barrister-at-law degree from the Nigerian Law School and a Bachelor of Laws from Afe Babalola University.
