Rani Francis

Rani Francis currently serves as Vice President of Regulated Industries at Okta since June 2025. Prior to this role, Rani held significant positions at Microsoft as Principal Director of Risk and Compliance, where leadership was demonstrated in the implementation of a $4 billion Federal SOX program and development of a data-driven risk management framework. Rani also worked at SAP National Security Services as Sr. Director of Governance, Risk & Compliance & Incident Response Management, overseeing security compliance for a cloud services business. Additional experience includes managing cybersecurity compliance strategies at SAIC and leading federal IT audits at Kearney & Company. Rani holds a Master of Science in Information Systems Engineering from Johns Hopkins Whiting School of Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Maryland's Robert H. Smith School of Business.
