Diego Alonso Suárez has a diverse work experience across various industries. Diego started their career in 2015 as a part of the communication department for fashion brands, where they implemented social media management and content creation strategies. In 2017, they worked as a Technical Communication and Marketing professional, focusing on online and offline marketing, internal and external communication, and social media management. Diego later joined the Agencia Local de Empleo de Gijón, where they worked on business relations, institutional representation, marketing, events, and collaborations.
Diego then co-founded Mailboxes Up in 2020, a company that revolutionizes traditional advertising through a mix of physical and digital marketing. Their role as CEO involved managing all aspects of the business. After that, they worked for Accem, where they were responsible for business prospecting, outreach, and partnership development for the integration program for immigrants.
In 2022, Diego joined The Adecco Group as a commercial manager for a short period before moving on to Okticket. At Okticket, they served as a Sales Development Representative, subsequently becoming an SDR Manager. In this role, they led a team and was responsible for generating sales pipeline through outbound techniques. Currently, they hold the position of Responsable Venta Directa & SDR Manager at Okticket, managing a team of Account Executives and SDRs to help companies digitalize their expense management processes.
Diego Alonso Suárez's education history begins in 2012 when they enrolled at the Universidad de Oviedo to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Commerce and Marketing, with a focus on Marketing and General Marketing Management. Diego completed this degree in 2016.
