Björn Katerbau

Björn Katerbau has a diverse work experience spanning across various industries. Björn is currently working as the Chief Distribution Officer at OKTO since February 2023. Prior to this, Björn held the same position at paysafecard.com from June 2012 to February 2023, along with being the Head of International Key Account Management from May 2010 to June 2012. Before that, they served as the Managing Director & Vice President Sales Central & Eastern Europe at Pelikan Austria Ges.m.b.H from January 2004 to May 2010. Björn also worked as the Regional Sales Manager at TDK Recording media from 2000 to 2004. Björn's early career includes various roles at Vorwerk Group, including Managing Director from 1996 to 2000, Managing Director from 1994 to 1996, and Business Development Manager from 1992 to 1994. Björn also worked as the President at Association Asiemut from 1989 to 1991, where they conducted a market research study for the French Garment Group Devanlay S.A.

Björn Katerbau's education history begins in 1973 when they attended the European School of Brussels I and obtained a Baccalauréat Européen. From 1985 to 1989, Björn studied at ESB Business School, Reutlingen University, earning a Dipl. Betriebswirt (FH) degree in Betriebswirtschaft. During the same period, they also attended NEOMA Business School and obtained a Diplôme d'Etudes Supérieures Européennes de Management in International Marketing. Björn later pursued further education at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) from 1990 to 1991, where they completed an M.Sc. in Operational Research & Information Systems.
