George Goutos

George Goutos is a Senior Software Engineer at OKTO since November 2021. Prior to that, they worked at IKNOWHOW SA from June 2019 to October 2021. At IKNOWHOW SA, they held the role of Senior Software Engineer. Before that, George worked at Accenture Greece from June 2018 to June 2019. During their time at Accenture Greece, they held the role of Application Development Analyst and Software Engineering Associate. George also has experience as an Information System Engineer at the University of Patras, where they built a mobile application as part of their diploma thesis.

George Goutos completed a five-year program at the University of Patras from 2009 to 2014, earning a Diploma in Computer Engineering and Informatics. In 2018, they attended Athens Technical College for the Java|Spring ReGeneration Academy, a program that lasted for 120 hours. In the same year, they participated in a 16-hour training program on effective verbal and non-verbal communication at the Kariera.gr Training & Development Centre, focusing on general communication skills. Additionally, George received several certifications, including "Java Design Patterns - The Complete Masterclass" from Udemy in February 2019, and a "Piraeus Bank Project Future & Regeneration Finalist - Java|Spring" certificate from ReGeneration | Global Shapers Athens Hub in December 2018. Before pursuing higher education, George completed their high school education at the 1st General High School of Vyronas, Athens Greece. George also obtained a Certificate of Competency in English from the University of Michigan, a First Certificate in English from the University of Cambridge, and a Zertifikat Deutch from Goethe-Institut e.V., all in 2005.
