Hever Vasquez

Hever Vasquez is the current Independent Sales Agent for the North Region at OKY Yes. Prior to this, they were the International Business Director at Millicom from May 2014 to September 2020. In this role, they were responsible for spearheading international product and service activities, managing operator, distributor, carrier, and provider relationships. Hever provided a focus on serving Latin American (LATAM) immigrants in the US, Canada, and Spain.

Hever monitored users, gross margins, pricing elasticity, and return on invested capital (ROIC) to track retail and wholesale sales strategy. Hever also developed and launched products and promotions for the international market. Hever ensured a rigorous control environment following current Millicom policies.

Hever implemented strategic plans for international long-distance calls, international top-ups, international roaming, and international Short Message Service/Application-to-Person (SMS A2P). Hever defined go-to-market strategy and distribution channels in the USA. Hever deployed segmented offers through Above-the-Line and Below-the-Line (ATL/BTL) promotions.

Some of their notable accomplishments at Millicom include increasing sales by 5% while growing brand awareness from 88% to 93%. Additionally, they decreased the number of distributors from 20 to 13, reducing commissions from 19% to 14%. Hever also drove new product market penetration to 45%.

Hever Vasquez has a Master of Business Administration from Emory University's Goizueta Business School and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from North Carolina State University.
