Martin Maina

Martin Maina has a diverse work experience spanning from 2009 to present. Martin began their career as an Information Technology Intern at Childline Kenya in August 2009. Martin then worked as a Technical Assistant from January to December 2010, and later became an ICT Officer from January 2011 to January 2014.

In 2014, Martin joined Emez JIT Solutions as a DevOps Engineer, where they worked until July 2015. Martin then joined Ol Pejeta Conservancy in August 2015 as a Systems Administrator. Martin held this position until March 2021 when they were promoted to Deputy Head of Technology. Martin remained in this role until June 2023. Currently, they are working at Ol Pejeta Conservancy as the Manager of Technology and Innovations, a position they started in May 2023.

Martin Maina has a diverse education history. In 2005, they enrolled at Egerton University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. Martin completed their studies in 2009. In 2014, Martin attended Africa Value Solutions and obtained a certificate in PRINCE2, which they completed in 2015.

In addition to their formal education, Martin Maina has also obtained several certifications. In May 2011, they received a Procurement Management Certificate from the Kenya School of Government. In August 2020, they obtained several certifications, including "Graphic Design Careers: First Steps" and "What is Graphic Design?" from LinkedIn, as well as "Google Analytics for Beginners" from the Google Analytics Academy. Martin also obtained the "Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals" certification from Microsoft in the same month.

Most recently, in August 2021, Martin Maina acquired the TDPK - Retirement Benefits Trustee Certification from the College of Insurance, Nairobi.
