Michal Lissauer has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. In 2002, they worked as a Fitness Instructor at Different Studios until 2010. Michal also served as a Lecturer at Ruppin Academic Center from 2007 to 2010, teaching Customer Relationship Management, Data Structure, and System Analysis.
From 2004 to 2009, Michal worked as a Lecturer in Data Structures at Tel Aviv University. Michal then joined Bank Leumi in 2005 as a Product Manager, leading cross-functional teams in Development and Business Analysis on projects aimed at improving customer service.
In 2007, Michal became a Senior Product Manager at Alternativa, a consulting firm. After two years, they were promoted to Chief Information Officer of Madanes Group, where they led the development of five products across various industries.
In 2011, Michal joined Madanes Insurance Agency Ltd as the Chief Information Officer (CIO), Board Member, and VP. Michal built the company's IT department, developed product pipelines, and brought five new products to the market. Michal also established strong vendor relationships for long-term partnerships.
From 2018 to 2019, Michal served as a Board Member at Madanes Insurance Technology Innovation Lab, a startup investment firm focused on the Insure-Tech industry.
In 2020, they co-founded Ola Ka Ola, a women's wellness hub, and is currently the CEO. Ola Ka Ola provides a supportive community and professional guidance for women over 40 to overcome the challenges of middle age.
Lastly, Michal is a member of the Women Business Leaders of the US Health Care Industry Foundation (WBL) since 2022.
Michal Lissauer attended The Hebrew Reali School from 1993 to 1999, where they studied mathematics, physics, and chemistry. From 2000 to 2004, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Information Technology at the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology. In 2005, Michal Lissauer furthered their education by completing a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Information Technology at Tel Aviv University, which they attended until 2008. In 2016, they participated in the Customer-Focused Innovation Program at Stanford University as part of their Executive Education.
