Sandra Duran

Sandra Duran has a diverse work experience in the field of interior design. Sandra currently works at Olala Homes as the Head Designer, where they lead the new interior design department and implements design guidelines for property interiors. Sandra also focuses on finding alliances with providers and manufacturers and creating a unique furniture line for specific project requirements.

Prior to their current position, Sandra worked at Estudio Duran as a Senior Interior Designer since 2020.

From 2016 to 2020, Sandra worked at The Arcade Hotel as the Project Manager and Lead Interior Designer. During their time there, they were responsible for the total renovation and implementation of a new hotel concept, which included designing new game and comic-themed rooms, renovating the entire hotel, and sourcing and designing new art installations.

Sandra co-founded Arquetipo Estudio in 2012 and served as the Lead Interior Designer until 2020.

Sandra started their career in 2008 as a Freelance Interior Designer and had various freelance and internship experiences with different design studios. Sandra also worked as an art director in music videos, commercials, and films, and had internships at Marañon Longoria Studio and MM Diseño interior design store and studio.

Sandra Duran attended IADE Escuela de Diseño from 2005 to 2008, where they pursued a degree in Interior Architecture. Prior to that, from 1997 to 2000, they studied at New York University, specializing in Language Interpretation and Translation, earning a degree in Translation.
