Kelani Jamiu

Kelani Jamiu is an experienced professional in the aquaculture sector, currently serving as Area Sales Manager and Aquaculture Technical Executive at Olam Agri since August 2019. In this role, Kelani educates fish farmers on best practices and provides technical solutions for African Catfish breeding, water management, and overall fish farming operations. Prior to this, Kelani worked as Technical Manager at Legendary Fish Farms from April 2016 to May 2019, where responsibilities included designing and operating an African Catfish hatchery, successfully hatching over 300,000 fish seeds annually. Additionally, Kelani served as Technical Supervisor at Uzoma Farms during the National Youth Service Corps between May 2015 and May 2016, overseeing farm operations and participating in the processing of African Catfish. Kelani's professional journey began with an internship at the Ministry of Agriculture, Ogun State in 2013, focusing on the management of tropical freshwater fish. Kelani holds a Bachelor’s degree in Aquaculture and Fisheries Management from the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, earned between 2009 and 2014.
