Steven Fairbairn

Steven Fairbairn is an experienced communications professional currently serving as SVP and Global Head of Communications at Olam Agri since January 2021. Prior to this role, Steven held various positions at Olam, including Group Head of Communications and Vice President/Group Head of External Affairs, from September 2018 to November 2023. Steven's extensive background includes a tenure at Cargill, where responsibilities included Senior Director Communications for the Agricultural Supply Chain and Head of External Communication EMEA from November 2006 to August 2018. Early career experiences include roles at Manning Selvage and Lee, Gavin Anderson & Company, Fleishman Hillard, Republic Communications, and Westminster Communications. Steven obtained an MA in Public Relations from The Manchester Metropolitan University and a BA in Politics from Queen's University Belfast.
