Eric Karunarathne

Eric Karunarathne currently serves as General Manager and Head of Finance and Admin for the Oil Palm Plantations division within Olam International since July 2020. With a robust background in financial management, previous positions include Financial Controller at Goodhope Asia Holdings Ltd from November 2015 to June 2020, Finance Manager and Accountant at MAS Holdings from October 2007 to September 2015, and Assistant Manager at EY from June 2003 to September 2007. Eric holds several academic qualifications, including an Associate Membership from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka, an MBA in Finance from the University of Colombo, a BSc in Accountancy from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura, and certifications from Stanford University and the MECA CFO Academy focused on advanced CFO skills and persuasive communication.
