Joe Ong is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in the freight and shipping industry. Currently serving as the Freight Finance Manager at Olam since June 2022, Joe previously held the position of Finance & Business Control Manager at G2 Ocean from July 2019 to June 2022, where responsibilities included financial reporting, managing overdue accounts receivable, and overseeing a team of trade controllers and business analysts. At G2 Ocean, Joe also contributed to the implementation of internal controls and facilitated regional budgeting and forecasting.
