Sriram Jayaraman

Sriram Jayaraman is a Senior Director at Olam since June 2023, focusing on the strategic planning of the US Private Label Business, having previously served as the Profit Center Head for the Vietnam Private Label Spices Business. Prior to returning to Olam, Sriram was the Regional Lead at Shopee and a Contributor for A Junior VC, where commentary on the venture and startup ecosystem reached over 30,000 readers. From July 2018 to December 2021, Sriram held the position of Deputy General Manager at Olam, where responsibilities included leading a team in establishing a manufacturing business with significant financial outcomes. Noteworthy achievements include being awarded Entrepreneur of the Year for the Southeast Asia region in 2019. Additional experience includes serving as General Manager at True North Co and as an Analyst at Bain & Company. Educational qualifications include a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad, as well as dual degrees in Mathematics and Mechanical Engineering from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani. Sriram also studied at Università Bocconi.
