Andrea Jia Yin Rettig has a diverse work experience in the creative field. Andrea Jia Yin is currently working as the Creative Director at Olaplex Inc. since March 2023. Prior to that, they were an Associate Creative Director at SEPHORA from September 2015 to August 2019. In this role, they led creative initiatives for social media, CRM, brand launches, ad campaigns, email marketing, mobile experiences, and Sephora's vlogger series. Andrea Jia Yin also worked on rebranding Sephora franchises and sub-brands and created brand guidelines. Before SEPHORA, Andrea worked as a Consultant/Creative Director at Cocomori, where they provided creative direction and developed brand and marketing strategies. At Leo Burnett/Arc Worldwide, they held roles as an Associate Creative Director and Senior Art Director. In these roles, they led creative teams, worked on multi-brand campaigns for P&G, including Olay, CoverGirl, Pantene, Secret, and Herbal Essences, and collaborated with Saatchi on a global relaunch of Olay. Andrea's experience also includes founding Cocomori, an exploration in edible sculptures that evolved into a multidisciplinary consultancy working with clients such as Gilt, Google, and Procter & Gamble.
Andrea Jia Yin Rettig completed their Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Digital Media & Sculpture at Indiana University Bloomington from 2002 to 2007. Prior to that, they attended the University of Toronto - John H. Daniels Faculty of Architecture, Landscape, and Design from 1999 to 2001, although it is unknown if they obtained a degree or pursued any specific field of study during that time.
