Dr. Gerhard Wagner, Elkan Blout Professor of Biological Chemistry and Molecular Pharmacology, Biological Chemistry and Molecular Pharmacology, Harvard Medical School, is an elected fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science, German National Academy, American Academy of Arts and Sciences, National Academy of Science, and International Society of Magnetic Resonance. Dr. Wagner hold exceptional expertise in pioneering methods of Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) spectroscopy. His work includes identifying small-molecule inhibitors of protein-protein interaction and their potential uses as anti-cancer agents, and the development of a clinical metabolomics platform that uses NMR and mass spectroscopy for metabolite-based disease profiling and biomarker identification for chronic myelogenous leukemia.
