Jay Sakers

Jay Sakers has extensive experience in the banking industry, with a focus on loan operations and supervision. Jay held positions at various banks, including Old Dominion National Bank, WashingtonFirst Bank | Sandy Spring Bank, Congressional Bank, Cardinal Bank, and Virginia Commerce Bank. Jay's roles involved managing and training Loan Operations staff, overseeing loan documentation, booking, and maintenance for commercial and consumer loans. Jay also emphasized information management, clean-up, and standardization. Additionally, Jay had a previous role as Vice President/Underwriting Manager at Southbanc Mortgage.

Jay Sakers attended Oglethorpe University in Atlanta, Georgia from 1982 to 1987. During this time, they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in English Language and Literature/Letters. Afterward, they pursued further education at Flagler College in St. Augustine, Florida from 1991 to 1994, where they obtained another Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree, this time in Special Education and Teaching.
