Eric Haynes

Eric Haynes is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in software development and enterprise analytics infrastructure. Currently serving as a Principal Engineer at GE Power since June 2014, Eric specializes in architecture and design while mentoring teams in software best practices such as Agile and Continuous Integration. Additionally, Eric has contributed to the academic field as a member of the Advisory Board for Electrical & Computer Engineering at Old Dominion University since 2002, offering insights on curriculum and industry trends. Prior roles include Director of Software Engineering at General Electric, where Eric managed software development teams and spearheaded Agile implementations, and Vice President of Software Development at IDAX, INC, where Eric led product architecture and design initiatives. Eric holds a Master of Engineering in Computer Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, both from Old Dominion University.
