Karen Meier

Karen Meier is a broadcast journalist with over 25 years of experience. Karen is currently the AVP of Community Engagement at Old Dominion University, where they have worked since December of 1991. Prior to their current position, Meier served as an Investigative Reporter and News Reporter/Anchor for ABC36 WTVQ-TV and WVEC ABC13 respectively. In these roles, Meier was responsible for writing, editing, and producing daily news segments and special features. Karen also delivered live reports and served as a spokesperson and representative at community forums and events. Meier has a long history of serving their community and is passionate about their work in community engagement.
