Kevin Leslie

Kevin Leslie serves as the Ecosystem Futures Fellow at VentureWell since March 2025 and holds the position of Associate Vice President for Innovation and Commercialization at Old Dominion University, where responsibilities include advancing university technologies and enhancing regional collaborations through the Institute for Innovation and Entrepreneurship. Previously, Kevin was the Executive Director of the Hampton Roads Biomedical Research Consortium, where efforts focused on regional health equity and biohealth innovation. Additional experience includes roles at Virginia Commonwealth University, such as Associate Director of VCU Ventures, where partnerships for research commercialization were developed, and Senior Scientist at MRTechnologies, LLC, overseeing the commercialization of advanced sequencing software. Kevin holds a Ph.D. in Integrated Life Sciences from Virginia Commonwealth University and both a B.S. and M.S. in Biology and Microbiology from William & Mary.
