Kim Ross

Kim Ross, MBA, currently serves as the Director of Accounting and Chief Financial Officer for Foundations at Old Dominion University since May 2017, overseeing finance and gift processing for multiple non-profit entities. Ross previously held the position of Director of Accounting at the YMCA of South Hampton Roads from March 2012 to May 2017 and worked as a consultant and independent contractor in various financial and operational roles from April 2010 to May 2017. Additional experience includes consulting for Old Dominion University Foundations, the New York Times Shared Services Center, and serving as Assistant Controller for a government contractor. From April 2002 to March 2010, Ross was the Director of Finance for Cox Auto Trader/AutoTrader.com, managing a $50 million division’s financial functions and leading a team of 12. Early career highlights include serving as Revenue Manager at Trader Publishing Company and General Manager at FloorTech Inc., overseeing finance, marketing, and operations. Ross holds an MBA from Strome College of Business and a BBA in Finance with a minor in Economics from James Madison University.
