Minhao Dong

Minhao Dong is a seasoned System Administrator and Software Developer at Old Dominion University, with a career spanning from January 2009 to the present, responsible for providing technical support for over 4,000 undergraduates, 200 graduate students, and 20 faculty members. Minhao manages over 300 servers across two data centers, leads a systems administration team, and offers training to student workers. Notable accomplishments include migrating the UNIX environment from Solaris to Linux, deploying a disaster recovery plan, and virtualizing more than 100 systems. Prior experience as a Software Engineer at Qizhi Technology included developing management tools, participating in the creation of a widely used security auditing product, and developing a custom Linux distribution. Minhao holds a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Computer Science from Old Dominion University.
