Omar Sharif

Omar Sharif is a dedicated academic professional with extensive experience in computer science, specializing in deep learning and generative adversarial networks. Currently serving as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Old Dominion University since January 2022, Omar is involved in teaching discrete mathematics while also conducting research. Prior roles include Graduate Research Assistant positions at Wayne State University and The University of South Dakota, where foundational research on deep learning commenced. Omar's educational background includes a PhD in Computer Science from both Old Dominion University and Wayne State University, as well as a Master's degree from the University of South Dakota and American International University-Bangladesh, culminating in a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Engineering from American International University-Bangladesh.
