Tara Saunders

Tara Saunders is an experienced professional in economic development and real estate management, currently serving as the Executive Director of the Real Estate Foundation at Old Dominion University since October 2007. Prior to this role, Tara held key positions in various city economic development departments, including Deputy Director for the City of Portsmouth from June 2002 to October 2007, Assistant Director for the City of Suffolk from September 2001 to June 2002, and Senior Business Development Manager for the City of Chesapeake from June 1989 to September 2001. Tara Saunders holds both an M.B.A. in Marketing and a B.S. in Marketing and Management from Old Dominion University, earned in 1992 and 1985, respectively.
