Yuping Liu-Thompkins Ph.D.

Yuping Liu-Thompkins PhD, CLMP is currently an Associate Dean for Research & Faculty, Professor of Marketing, and Chair of the Department of Marketing at Old Dominion University, where employment began in August 2002. In addition, Liu-Thompkins serves as the Research Director of the Loyalty Science Lab, founded in January 2020, and is actively involved as a Board of Regents Member at The Loyalty Academy since January 2021 and a Partner at Customer Strategy Network since August 2021. Liu-Thompkins also contributes to various academic journals, including serving as Associate Editor and Editorial Review Board Member for multiple publications, such as the Journal of Advertising and Journal of Interactive Marketing. Educational credentials include a Ph.D. in Marketing from Rutgers University - Newark and a B.A. in Marketing from Renmin University of China.
