Sophie Delany has extensive experience in the hospitality and education sectors, currently serving as the Catering and Events Manager at Old Edwards Hospitality Group since June 2014, with additional roles including Assistant Food and Beverage Director, General Manager of Four65 Bistro, Banquet Manager, and Banquet Captain. Prior to this, Sophie worked as a 1st Grade Dual Language Teacher Assistant at Chapel Hill Carrboro City Schools from August 2013 to June 2014 and spent five years at Galloway Ridge at Fearrington as a Food and Beverage Supervisor and Lead Server. Sophie also gained experience as event staff at The Fearrington House Country Inn and Restaurant from April 2010 to October 2012. Sophie holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Hispanic and Latin American Languages, Literatures, and Linguistics from UNC Chapel Hill, attained between 2009 and 2012.
