Catherine Hanna Schrock is a seasoned educator and community organizer with extensive experience in theater arts. Currently serving as the Cofounder and Director of Imagine Creative Services since June 2021, Catherine has also held the position of Lead Teaching Artist at The Old Globe since January 2015, focusing on developing theater-based curricula. Catherine's diverse roles include freelance work as a Theater Arts Educator and Community Organizer with Independent Sector, co-founding and directing community development at Blindspot Collective, and curating programs for The Global Immersion Project. Previous positions include directing a human trafficking prevention curriculum at the Center for Justice and Reconciliation, lead teaching artist roles at La Jolla Playhouse and New Victory Theater, and providing professional development as an actor/consultant trainer for Performance of a Lifetime. Catherine holds a Master’s degree in Educational Theater from New York University and a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Development Studies from Calvin University.
