Erika Phillips

Erika Phillips is a seasoned theatre practitioner with extensive experience as an actor, director, and writer since June 1994. Most recently, Erika completed a commissioned play titled "Tybalt," which received a successful developmental workshop and reading in September 2023. As the Senior Programs Manager at The Old Globe since 2013, Erika has expanded responsibilities in teaching artist management and has overseen the implementation of the Reflecting Shakespeare program, which has received significant funding and serves Reentry and Youth communities. Previous roles include Education Programs Manager at Playwrights Project and Teaching Artist at La Jolla Playhouse, where Erika led various innovative projects. Erika holds a Master of Science in Leadership and Management from Western Governors University and a Bachelor's degree in Theatre from Wesleyan University.
