Clive Hogarth

Clive Hogarth is an accomplished actuarial professional with extensive experience in the insurance sector. Currently serving as the Head of Retail Pricing at Old Mutual Insure since January 2023, Clive has held significant leadership roles at Absa Insurance Company as GM of Actuarial and Analytics and Head of Corporate Actuarial from February 2019 to December 2022. Prior roles include Consultant at Milliman, where Clive specialized in SAM regulatory reporting, ORSA processes, product design, and pricing, as well as Manager of Short Term Actuarial at Guardrisk Insurance Company Ltd, overseeing team management and technical provisions. Clive's career began at Alexander Forbes as a Senior Actuarial Specialist, focusing on defined benefit pension scheme valuations. Clive holds fellowships from the Actuarial Society of South Africa and the Institute of Actuaries, alongside degrees in Actuarial Science from the University of the Witwatersrand.
