Brian Armstrong

Brian is an Independent non-executive director. He is currently the Professor in the Chair of Digital Business at Wits Business School, where he lectures a Master’s Degree in Digital Transformation and is regarded as one of the ICT industry leaders in South Africa. Brian is an Independent non-executive director at Huge Group and also serves on the Board of Tshimologong Innovation Precinct.

Before joining Wits Brian was at Telkom for seven years where he filled the roles of Group Chief Operating Officer and Group Chief Commercial Officer amongst others. His prior experience includes being Vice President for Middle East and Africa at British Telecom and also Managing Director of AST Networks of AST (now Gijima).
