James Mwangi

James is an Independent Non-Executive Director. He is an Executive Director of the Dalberg Group and a partner with Dalberg Global Development Advisors (“Dalberg”). He was a founding member of Dalberg’s Africa presence in 2007. In 2010, he took on the role of Global Managing Partner and Chief Executive of Dalberg’s consulting business, overseeing its global operations. Prior to Dalberg, he worked at McKinsey & Company. He is a 2009 Archbishop Tutu Leadership Fellow of the African Leadership Institute and serves on the institute’s board. He is also a 2013 Young Global Leader of the World Economic Forum and a member of the Young Presidents organisation as well as a member of the Global Entrepreneurs Council of the United Nations Foundations. He also served on the advisory committee of the Clinton Global Initiative.
