Michael J Kozak has extensive work experience in the banking and finance industry. Michael J began their career at Continental Illinois National Bank in 1978, where they served as an Officer in the Investment Banking Division until 1980. Michael J then worked as a Financial Consultant at Cybernetics of Hawaii from 1981 to 1982. In 1983, Kozak joined Bank of Honolulu as a Senior Vice President and Loan Department Manager until 1987. Michael J then became the President of State Bank of Lake Zurich from 1988 to 1990. Kozak joined Comerica Bank in 1991 and held the positions of Vice President and Manager of Loan Review until 1992, and Vice President and Senior Credit Officer until 1996. From 1997 to 2003, they worked at First Midwest Bank as a Senior Vice President and Regional Credit Officer. Kozak then served as the EVP and Chief Credit Officer at First Midwest Bank from 2004 to 2012. Michael J continued their career as the EVP and Senior Credit Officer at First Midwest Bank from 2013 to 2015. Currently, Kozak holds the position of EVP and Chief Credit Officer at Old Second National Bank since 2015.

Michael J Kozak has an MBA degree in Finance, General from Northwestern University. Michael J also holds a Master's degree in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics from the University of Oxford. Additionally, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Government and Theology from the University of Notre Dame.
