Shad Atia

Shad Atia has worked as a Senior Information Technology Specialist at Old Second National Bank since July 2018. Prior to that, they worked at ABC Bank as an Information Technology Specialist- MCITP since July 2005.

Shad Atia started their education at the University of Illinois Chicago in 1999, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance in 2001. Prior to that, they attended Oakton College from 1997 to 1999 and obtained an Associate's Degree in Computer and Information Sciences, General. In addition, Shad also received a PTA Certification from the University of Illinois Chicago and a Physical Therapy Assistant Cert from Oakton College in 1995-1997.

Shad has further enhanced their expertise through various certifications. In 2015, they obtained the Sonicwall Security Admin Cert from Dell SonicWALL. In 2014, they achieved the Kaseya Certified Administrator certification from Kaseya, as well as the Microsoft Certified IT Professional (Enterprise Administrator), Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (Win Server 2008), and Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (Network Infrastructure) certifications from Microsoft. In 2013, Shad earned the Cisco (CCIE) certification from Cisco. Shad also obtained the Microsoft Certified Trainer certification in 2008. Lastly, Shad has pursued certifications from Cisco and obtained the Cisco Certified Network Admin (CCENT) certification, and they are also certified as a Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), although the specific dates of these certifications were not provided.
