Brian Hupp

Brian Hupp is an experienced music educator and performer with a strong background in both teaching and opera. Currently serving as a Music Teacher at New Trier High School District since October 2018 and as a Cantor at Old St. Patrick's Church since July 2018, Brian also boasts performance experience with notable ensembles and theaters. Highlights include participating as a chorister in the Lyric Opera of Chicago's production of Gotterdammerung, guest artist appearances with the Amherst Symphony Orchestra, and roles in various operas such as Pangloss in Des Moines Metro Opera's Candide and Baron Zeta in The Merry Widow with Opera Project Columbus. Brian’s formal education includes a Master of Music in Vocal Performance from The Ohio State University and a Bachelor of Music in Music Teacher Education from Capital University.
