Anita O'Connell

Anita O'Connell serves as Development Manager at the Old Town School of Folk Music since September 2014, following a role as Resource Development Manager at the Lyric Opera of Chicago from October 2013 to August 2014. Previously, Anita held positions at the National Museum of Mexican Art as Corporate, Foundation and Government Relations Manager from September 2011 to September 2013, and at Little City Foundation, where responsibilities included Grants Manager, Arts Liaison, and Children's Art Program Manager from September 2008 to September 2011. Early career experiences include roles at Columbia College Chicago as Assistant to the Associate Chair of the AEMM Department from September 2006 to August 2008 and Development Assistant at ThreeWalls from June 2007 to May 2008. Anita O'Connell obtained a Master of Arts Management with a focus on Visual Arts from Columbia College Chicago in 2008, and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Fine Art from the same institution in 2005.
