Ayn Generes has a diverse work experience in the stormwater industry. Ayn began their career as a Project Designer at Pate Engineers, where they designed paving and utility systems. Ayn then joined CONTECH Engineered Solutions as a Business Manager and Engineering Manager, leading a team in designing and selling stormwater treatment systems. Ayn later worked at StormwateRx as an Engineering Manager, playing a key role in the company's strategic planning and growth. Ayn also worked at SoundEarth Strategies as a Regional Stormwater Program Manager, focusing on the industrial stormwater sector. Currently, Ayn serves as the Associate Director - Commercial Operations at Oldcastle Infrastructure, where they are responsible for the commercial operations of the Stormwater business. Throughout their career, they have developed growth strategies, collaborated with cross-functional teams, built effective engineering teams, and improved processes and functionality.

Ayn Generes earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Civil Engineering from Texas A&M University from 1994 to 1999. Additionally, they hold several certifications, including being a Percepta Graduate from Pathbuilders (obtained in 2023), Certified Erosion and Sediment Control Lead (CESCL) (obtained in 2013), Professional Engineer in Washington (obtained in 2012), Certified Professional in Storm Water Quality (CPSWQ) from EnviroCert International, Inc (obtained in 2010), and Professional Engineer in Oregon (obtained in 2005).
