Ruben Herrera

Ruben Herrera is an experienced journeyman electrician currently employed at Gaylor Electric, Inc. since September 2022. In addition, Ruben has been serving as a Commissioning & Startup Operator in the Control Room for OLEO Consulting Group since June 2019, working on a 190 megawatt power plant project in Old Harbour Bay, St. Catherine. Ruben has a long-standing career with CORPOELEC and ENELVEN, holding positions since September 2002, including Technician Operator for combined cycle turbines and Auxiliary Field Operator. A brief tenure as a Power and Control Electrician Technician occurred at Lee Industrial Contracting in late 2021. Previous operational oversight was provided as Operations Supervisor from January 2013 to January 2018 within the Enelven/Corpoelec framework. Ruben's educational background includes a degree in Maintenance Instrumentation from PDVSA CIED in Venezuela and a diploma in Electrician Technology from a technical industrial school.
