Oleo International
Oleo is an established UK engineering company and a leading expert in energy absorption This year marks a new range of modular rail buffers as Oleo International continues to diversify its products for the Rail sector. By adding modular buffers to its manufacturing programme, Oleo has become one of a few businesses globally with the capability to deliver a complete rail safety solution. Oleo products are designed to protect people and equipment from forces generated either during normal running, or from an impact resulting from equipment failure or operator error. Traditionally Oleo has achieved this using hydraulic energy absorption systems combined with a gas return spring to give unsurpassed energy dissipation and recovery. Energy absorption technology generates relatively high forces, even during light impacts, Oleo technology generates lowest possible forces at all impact velocities, which means that the equipment being protected is less likely to suffer from chronic problems such as fatigue, wear, and contact damage and noise. This results in reduced downtime, maintenance, replacement and disposal costs. Oleo's line of products such as buffers, absorbers, end stops give ultimate protection, reducing impact forces to safe levels in potentially life threatening impacts. We will work with you to ensure that an energy absorption solution is developed to your specification; we provide solutions – not just products.
