Alana Gray

Alana L. Gray is a highly experienced professional in the biotechnology field, serving as Co-founder and Chief Operating Officer at Oleolive since September 2017, where the focus is on developing compounds for various diseases and utilizing a patented extraction method from olive oil. Additionally, Alana has held the position of Chief Operating Officer at Segue Tx-Pancreatic Cancer, a subsidiary of Oleolive, since January 2016. Prior to this, Alana co-founded and worked as Chief Operating Officer at Segue Science Labs from January 2017 to December 2021 and Segue Science Management from November 2016 to May 2021. Early career experiences include a postdoctoral fellowship at Feist Weiller Cancer Center and graduate research associate roles at LSU Health Shreveport, where a Ph.D. in Microbiology and Immunology was earned. Alana began academic pursuits with a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Texas at Tyler.
